Dee lived from 1527–1608. Earliest version of the Abramelin thing is 1608. http://cc.bingj.com/cache.aspx?q=http%3a%2f%2fen.wikipedia.org%2fwiki%2fThe_Book_of_Abramelin&d=4636413020406675&mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US&w=d57da71c,54985adc Difference in the systems exist, but similar ideas.

Interesting to see that L. Ron Hubbard, who started Scientology was not a Freemason… but no one can say one way or the other, lol. Both Illumination and OTIII+ ultimately seem to have the goal of destroying all religions and making everyone in to what we call today free-thinkers sort of… Only Freemasons do it through the Lightbringer (Lucifer, i.e. the Morning Star, Hermes Trimigustus, etc.) and OTIII does it by trying to wipe out the little "thetan aliens" that started other religions trough the evil Xenu, and one was 19th century and the other 20th Century. Mormon's Kolob is something entirely unrelated (see earlier postings) and was a mis-interpretation of real Egyptian writings. However, Xenu idea may have come from Kolob idea, i.e. God in a spaceship sort of. All this reading makes me want to make some bizzare paintings.

The word Jah-oh-eh has nothing Egyptian in it; it resembles the Hebrew word [redacted] badly transcribed."

Interesting to think about various oddball things like this. Read a blog yesterday or the day before who's url I can't find right now about how this angel magic stuff is really about finding your own personal angel, which is your own inner self sort of. Inspirational stuff with an oddball way of getting at the point that the inner self has potential to almost anything. After all, any person in histoy is just a person, like you or I. One person can make a difference whether they want to admit it or not.

Old Angel Magic… funky junk…. don't get in to it. Dangerous. Interesting, but dangerous. I came across the latest version of this thingy back in college. I worked as a librarian, so would often check out books other folks checked in. Since quite a few folks were in to Wicca and junk up in Kirksville (Coldsville) and writing papers about it, I read a lot of this sort of weird stuff… interesting from both an art history, history, and philosopical and religious educational standpoint.

Maybe Xenu lives on Kolob?
